Coach Dave Gleason is a nationally recognized youth sports performance coach who helps parents, coaches, and clubs raise confident, resilient soccer players—without burnout, overtraining, or pressure overload. Through his experience-driven systems and heart-led coaching, Dave empowers families to develop both the athlete and the human inside every child.

Known for blending elite-level coaching with unmatched parent support, Dave embodies practical leadership and emotional intelligence in youth sports. While many programs chase short-term wins, he helps families build lifelong players—mentally, physically, and emotionally.

Dave has trained thousands of young athletes, from shy six-year-olds to pro-level competitors. He’s consulted with organizations like Reebok, the USTA, USA Hockey, and has been featured in WebMD, Stack.com, and The Boston Globe. He’s spoken at top industry events including the NSCA Power Summit and IYCA International Summit.

Dave holds multiple certifications including NSCA-CSCS, Certified Speed and Agility Coach, and Youth Fitness Specialist Level III. He’s co-authored several best-selling coaching systems such as Youth Speed Development, Complete Athletic Development, and Complete Sports Training.

When he’s not coaching, you’ll find Dave enjoying life with his two sons and blended family of five boys. He lives in Massachusetts and still runs the same summer soccer camp he started over 30 years ago—helping hundreds of kids fall in love with the game every year.
